The Pension Popasul Codrenilor is classified of 3 stars, it is situated in the North-West of Satu Mare, common Homoroade, village Homorodu de Sus, in the middle of the Homoroade Forests, at the edge of "Oteloaia" Lake, a distance of 30 km from Satu Mare,at the exit of Homorodu de Sus at the left .
This Codru-Homoroade area is situated at the bottom of the "Culmii Codrului" or Fagetului Mountains, a hill region with 180m-300m heights, the "Piemontul Codrului" area, having a rich vegetation of "cerete" and also famous for its large variety of forests like: sessile, oak, beech.
The location "Popasul Codrenilor" is known in Satu Mare as "Lacul Oteloaia", always the perfect place for hikers, where the forest lovers used to place their tents in summer. This place is also popular for a well known folk festival called: "Cantecul si jocului codrenesc". This folk festival takes place every year in August,surrounding by a wonderful setting. The stage is located exactly on the "Oteloaia" Lake ,where the villagers,and the folk lovers,can enjoy folk songs and dances.

Reception Area The Pension - its architecture is pretty much like a ''barn'' with large gates decorated with attractive folk elements very specific of the area
- The inside of the pension is partitioned in order to be the best place for relaxation and recreation. - The restaurant is located at the ground floor designed in specific folk style,the accomodation rooms are situated upstairs,all comfortable equipped and furnished ,the furniture is made of wood,the sheets and the table clothes are only of cotton,each woven with specific "cipca"[lace] at their edges

Near the pension there is a 200 m2 open terrace with a panoramic view on the lake , having its own kitchen and a capacity of 70 people .
Reception Area:The recreation area serves not only for its clients[customers],but also for all the tourists who come occasionally here for recreation or even for different cultural events. This area offers a salty and heated[26-30 C degrees]pool water,filtered and treated,clean as a whistle,having a perfect length and depth for swimming.
- Pavilion 1 serves the pool and contains the cloakrooms, toilets, shower-rooms, each for men and women.
- Pavilion 2-it is an open structure of wood,arranged[used]as a bar,where you can enjoy a tasty drink like coffee, beer, juices, ice-cream, mineral water, lemonade.
- Pavilion 3-has four pool-tables where you can enjoy yourself unless you are a fun of hiking or you like sunny weather.
"Oteloaia" Lake with its 4 hectare surface, was unclogged, also cleaned and populated with fish for all who loves fishing.
The perfect harmony of the surroundings, the purity of fresh air, being in the middle of the nature,[this are wasn't ever poluted] makes you enjoy freetime better, even hiking or cycling, fishing in "Oteloaia" Lake, sunbathing or swimming, having great pool games, all these can make your holiday more enjoyable.

Pension Popasul Codrenilor makes you forget your every day life for a while and you can taste a bit of a quiet life in the middle of the forest,having your best accomodation and leisure time here. Our pension has got 6 rooms with a maximum capacity of 18 people. Each room has a specific wooden furniture,the sheets are made of cotton,decorated with lace,just like in old times. “Popasul Codrenilor” Restaurant has got 40 seats and gives you a special atmosphere with a very particular design ,its authentic food being served in personalized clay pots.
The restaurant is arranged in a rustic style with specific wooden furniture,beautiful chests of drawers called ''ladoi' could be admired ,also wooden sideboards, all designed with folk motifs.

The swimming-pool-[21m\12m] has got 1,5 m depth ,designed with glass mosaic,supplied with salty water,from own drilling,having a concentration of 0,5g\I Na CL. The filtering is done twice between 5.a.m .to 9 p.m. Its treatment is made through electrolysis of salty water and also through UV tubes. The pool water has a temperature of 26-30 C degrees ,being heated by solar panels which depend on the sun's power.
